BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Fountaindale Public Library was evacuated Thursday for a report of a bomb threat, Bolingbrook Police said. The report was found to be unfounded. At 1:52 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the library, at 300 W. Briarcliff Road, after staff reported receiving a message through an online chat service. The messaged stated, "There is a bomb." Police said the library was evacuated, and nearby schools were placed on a soft lockdown, where the buildings were, but classes remained in session, police said.
