Dominic Escatel wrestles during the 2023 Illinois Midget Championships in Bedford Park this past weekend. (Courtesy photo) BEDFORD PARK — The Rochelle Wrestling Club sent two athletes to the 2023 Illinois Midget Championships at the Wintrust Sports Complex over the weekend. Nehemiah Andronic and Dominic Escatel competed in the three-day tournament that ran from March 17-19. Escatel competed in the Boys Midget 76 Division and went 1-2 over three bouts. Escatel opened the tournament with a 9-4 decision over Bolingbrook's Easton Breen to advance into the second round, where Escatel conceded a fall against Yorkville's Robert Martino.
